Sage, distinguished naturalist and author. Browning to outer page edges. Wrapper is edge-creased with fading to spine and a couple of edges.

Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Cream cloth cover, with gilt title to cover and spine. Colour frontis piece. Many full page colour prints. Decorations to all text. Unpaginated. 11 x 9". Some slight browning to cover edges. Light musty smell (cigarettes?) to contents and a light damp stain affecting top page corner tips of some pages. Dustwrapper is edge worn with small chips/tears but no loss.
