Blue cloth spine with black titles and vignette. Pictorial front board showing a girl and a boy with a boat. Red titles. Colour and b/w illustrations. First story is Mrs. Orpington's Odd Chicken by Agness E. Cash. Spine bumped and browned. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Rear cover is grubby. Front board slightly rubbed. Remains of book label to front endpaper. Browning to endpapers, title page and some page edges. Some hinges cracked. Foxing mainly to page edges. One plate creased at top corner. Dusty marks to last page of text, although text is still legible.

B/w text illustrations. Covers edge worn, rear cover is slightly marked. Spine is slightly bumped and browned. Name in crayon (lilac) to front endpaper. Foxing to contents, some hinges cracked and some small margin tears.

Colour plates plus b/w and two-tone illustrations. Spine bumped. Corners worn. Cover edges slightly rubbed. Rear cover is a bit scuffed. Name and address in ink to front pastedown. Foxing to contents (some heavy). One page corner has not been trimmed correctly during the binding process and is creased.

Front cover shows girl with a dog sat next to a red indian. Maroon cloth spine. 191 pages. 9.5 x 7.5". Colour frontis (by Wain featuring a crocodile and a bear), b/w and two-tone text illustrations throughout, many Wain cats. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Rear cover just a little grubby. Inscription in ink to half-title. Grubby fingermarks to some page margins.
The Adventures of Three Bold Bears told in verse. Small format. Grey paper boards with lilac vertical lines and pictorial onlay to front showing bears coming down the stairs. 4 colour plates, b/w illustrations to text. Not paginated. Top and tail of spine worn. All plates present. Centre hinge pulled. '15' in ink to top margin of one page else contents clean.
