Spine and corners bumped, covers edge worn. Damp staining to cover and page edges. Contents browned. Hinges cracked and pulled causing contents to be a little loose.

Covers are edge worn and grubby, splits to top of spine. Hinges pulled and cracked causing contents to be a little loose. Contents are well browned.

Colour pictorial boards showing two boys hiking with dog. 4 colour plates, including frontis. First story is 'The Shanghaied Mountie' by Crawford Kaye. Chunky volume. Spine and corners are bumped and worn. Chipping to cover edges and top and tail of spine. A few grubby marks to covers, with a few small scuffs. Front joint is cracked and becoming weak; webbing showing through. Some ink stamp marks to belongs to box and verso of frontis. Small tear to bottom of frontis. Light browning to page edges and margins. A few hinges are pulled. All plates are present.
