Almost very good condition. Vol. XVIII. Red pictorial cloth with gilt titles and black decorations. Pictorial inlay on front cover. Leaf patterned endpapers. B/w illustrations. First story (part of series) is Nan: or, the Power of Love by Eliza F. Pollard.
Spine and corners bumped and worn. Fading to spine and edge of rear board. Board edges a little grubby. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper and name in red ink to first page of first story. Endpapers browned. Some foxing and a few marks to contents. Top of pages 110 & 111 have browned mark caused by piece of card inserted there.
