Small format. Reissue. Boards have strips and circules, with colour pictorial onlay to front cover. Colour plates and b/w illustrations. Top 1" of spine is MISSING; splits to base of spine. Browning also to spine. Inscription in ink to verso of frontis. Creasing to some pages. Grubby marks and foxspots etc. to contents.

Orange boards, pictorial onlay to front cover shows girl playing piano, onlay to spine shows toys in boat. Colour and three tone plates plus b/w text illustrations. Contains short stories and verse. Spine bumped and worn, splits to ends, vertical crease to centre, onlay slightly grubby with a little damage to edges. Minimal bumping and wear to corners. Covers a little grubby with light scratches to front cover. Front joint is broken but is being held in place by threads from binding. First two gatherings pulled so feel loose. A couple of hinges cracked. Tear to bottom of rear endpaper close to spine. A few fox spots to edges.

Cloth spine. Pictorial front cover shows two boys pulling a log, third boy sitting on log. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. 188 pages plus publication list. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers slightly grubby with a few light scratches. Prize plate to front endpaper and name to top edge of front pastedown. Contents edge browned.
Brown pictorial cloth. B/w illustrations. Some light wear to covers. Front endpaper is MISSING. Some foxing and page browning.

Spine looks like it has been damaged by fire (lower 2/3rds missing and top 1/3rd blackened, lower edge of front cover also blackened. Large but neat inscription in ink to verso of half-title. Foxing to contents and pale page browning.

Vol XLII. Containing the monthly parts for 1902. Cloth spine, pictorial front board shows a girl with her horse and a dog jumping up at her skirt. Colour frontis, b/w text illustrations throughout. 236 pages plus 20 page catalogue at rear. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Small bump to bottom edge of rear board. Rear board is marked and scratched. Name and date to front endpaper and name in ink to verso. Pages browned. Contents clean.
Cloth spine, pictorial front cover shows 3 boys pushing/pulling a girl on a sleigh. First story is "The Race". Colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. 112 pages. Spine slightly bumped and stained. Covers slightly edge worn and scuffed. Front joint is cracked at lower half causing free-endpaper and frontis to be part detached. Front joint between frontis and title-page is cracked showing webbing, lower half is broken. Hinges cracked and pulled causing contents to be loose. A decent copy overall.

Small, blind bookseller's stamp to front endpaper. Endpapers browned. Tissue guard for frontis is detached and browned. Some grubby marks to page margins. Advertising leaflet inserted into book.
A Picture Story Book For Little Ones. Large format (10.5 x 8"). Pictorial boards, front shows Grandpa guiding a donkey and cart with three little ones in the cart. First story is "A Windy Day". B/w illustrations throughout. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Front free-endpaper removed(?). A piece of white paper has been stuck to the front free-endpaper (covering previous inscription perhaps?). Some grubby fingermarks to page margins.
Beige/brown boards with pictorial onlay to front cover - shows girl with two dolls and three birds sat on a branch. Pictorial endpapers. 4 colour plates. Spine edge chipped. A few marks to covers. Front joint a little weak. Belong to box completed. Endpapers browned.

The binding repairs to the book are very amateurish.
