Blue pictorial cloth, with gilt title labels. Front cover shows artist being watched by girl, spine shows lady with girl. 4 colour plates. 336 pages. Purple endpapers. Spine and corners bumped. Corners and board edges rubbed. Scuffing to boards. Gilt worn in places. Prize plate to front pastedown. Rear joint beginning to crack. Some hinges are cracked. Heavy browning to half title and last page of text. Some foxing and grubby marks. Slight musty smell. Five colour plates present with one plate ("What a dear coat") appearing twice.

Large heavy format. Blue cloth with gilt title to spine and embossed title to front cover. Colour plates and b/w text illustrations. Includes Oxenham story "Peggy and the Brotherhood". Light bumping and wear to spine and a couple of corners. Inscriptions in ink to front endpaper. Some foxing and page browning. Scarce wrapper is foxed, with some edge-creasing and closed tears; a few small chips of loss.

Green cloth with embossed decoration and blind titles to front cover. Spine has gilt titles with author/publisher name in black and embossed decoration. Colour frontis. 310 pages. Spine is bumped at top and bottom with very small splits. Corners bumped and worn. Rear cover is stained with a few small marks. Ink inscription and small bookseller's sticker to front endpaper. Small patch of damage to top 1cm of rear joint. Couple of hinges cracked. Browned to endpapers. Heavy foxing, mostly to page edges. Odd margin mark. Contained in a photcopy dustwrapper.

Minor foxing to outer page edges. Price-cut pictorial wrapper is edge-worn with a few closed tears and small chips, lightly faded to spine and slightly grubby to rear panel. Overall a nice copy.
