Large format. Cloth spine. Green boards, pictorial onlay to front cover showing the Piper with townsfolk in the background. Full page colour illustrations and b/w text illustrations. Easy-to-read text. Printed on one-side of the paper only and pages unopened. Covers are edge worn and a bit grubby. Spine slightly bumped and rubbed. Joints starting to crack. Contents are clean.

Large format. Red cloth spine. Pictorial onlay to front cover. Large colour illustrations pages, with text on opposite page. Some b/w illustrations. Rebacked, with new cloth spine, but still retains original colour pictorial endpapers, which have been restuck. Uneven fading to cover edges; some marks. Inscription in ink to verso of frontis. A few grubby finger marks. Text pages are uncut at long edge (published like this). Colour illustrations are lovely and bright.

Large format. Blue cloth spine with light blue/green boards; colour pictorial onlay to front cover. With 36 full-page colour illustrations. Splitting to cloth spine, with some fraying at edges. Fading/browning to cover edges. A few scuff marks and some indentation marks to covers. Heavy foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Illustrations are beautifully bright. Just a few small page margin tears and marks, otherwise contents are very good indeed!

White spine with black title, pictorial front cover shows girl and boy sitting in hammock reading book. 6 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 190 pages. First story is A Surprise for the Piggledy Gnome. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Bump to front cover has bent board at top and damaged top and outside edge. Spine and front cover a bit grubby. A couple of hinges cracked but binding is firm. Contents generally clean. A little foxing. All plates present but two have darkened edges, one of these has ragged edges too.

Spine bumped, worn and darkened, gilt title block rubbed, some loss from lady and child. A little bumping and wear to corners. A few small marks to covers, picture on front is rubbed with some spots of loss. Presentation plate to front pastedown, surface paper damage to plate. Joints and some hinges cracked but binding is firm. Small tear to top edge of front endpaper. An odd mark to contents. Some foxing, especially top of first few text pages. All plates present.
