Slightly better than good condition. Large format. Green cloth covers with gilt titles, peacocks either side of rose bush to front cover. Colour and b/w illustrations. 192 pages. First story - Toby and the Football Boots by Evelyn Sharp.
Spine bumped and worn with nicks to cloth on bottom edge. 1" Vertical split to cloth about an inch up from base of spine plus small hole to front edge. Decoration to covers is rubbed and rear cover is marked. 0.5" tear to outside edge of prelims including to frontis. A couple of hinges cracked, tear to pages alongside one of them, next to spine. Few spots of surface paper damage to contents page and page opposite. Fingermarks to contents and some light foxing.
