Contains 5 stories: The Creepie-Man; The Wonderful Journey of Be-Wee The Gnome; How Be-Wee Built a House Under the Punker-Tree; The Creepie-Man's Poke-Sack; The Needle-Witch's Pepper Pot. 20 colour plates. B/w illustrations. Surface paper lifting/damage to top corner of front cover and lower half of rear cover. Some other scuffs and marks to covers; bumping to corners. Presentation plate to front pastedown, with name in ink. A few edge-chips to front endpaper, which is also browned. Some margin marks, browning and a little foxing. All plates present.

Orange boards, pictorial onlay to front cover shows girl playing piano, onlay to spine shows toys in boat. Colour and three tone plates plus b/w text illustrations. Contains short stories and verse. Spine bumped and worn, splits to ends, vertical crease to centre, onlay slightly grubby with a little damage to edges. Minimal bumping and wear to corners. Covers a little grubby with light scratches to front cover. Front joint is broken but is being held in place by threads from binding. First two gatherings pulled so feel loose. A couple of hinges cracked. Tear to bottom of rear endpaper close to spine. A few fox spots to edges.

Just an odd mark to contents.

A couple of hinges cracked but binding is firm. Contents generally clean. A little foxing. All plates present but two have darkened edges, one of these has ragged edges too.

A couple of margin tears. Some light foxing and marks to contents but generally clean. All plates present but one has loss from margin and two have margin tears.
