Blue pictorial cloth. B/w plates. Heavy wear and scuffing to covers. Corners are bumped, with some loss. Inscriptions in ink to pages of prelims. Corner of front endpaper has been torn off. Some hinges are pulled. Foxing and margin marks. A reading copy.

Almost very good condition.
Red spine with black title and vignette of a child climbing a flagpole. Black pictorial board showing children on scooters. Red titles. Pictorial endpapers with 4 different nursery rhymes. Colour plates. Full page four tone illustrations plus two tone illustrations. First story is A Tale of the Tinies. Spine bumped. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges a little rubbed. Bottom of rear board bumped. Rear board is a little grubby. Light scuffing/scratch marks to front board. Front joint reinforced. Rear joint and some hinges cracked. Endpapers are browned. Name and date to verso of title page. Creasing to bottom of some pages. Light foxing mainly to page edges plus some grubby marks although many pages are clean.
