A picture book for little people. Red cloth spine with black title. Front cover shows boy pushing girl along on play horse. First story: The Pixies' Market. Book has a new spine (been rebacked), with original laid down; some fading/wear to black title. What appears to be original endpapers have been reused and are now strengthened with paper tape. Name in ink to front pastedown. Some foxing and grubby marks. A few small page margin tears.

Grubby marks to covers. Browning and foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and page margins. Some other margin marks. A few page corner creases. All plates present. Neat colouring to some b/w illustrations internally.

Ink inscription in To box on front endpaper and 1930 written to verso of frontis. A few marks to contents but most pages are clean. A little foxing.

Name and date to verso of title page. Creasing to bottom of some pages. Light foxing mainly to page edges plus some grubby marks although many pages are clean.
