Almost very good condition. Large format. Cream pictorial boards and spine. Front cover shows two girls, spine shows girls at bottom of staircase with someone at top holding a candle. 10 stories, first is A Princess From Kensington by Yelva Burnett. Colour frontis plate, packed with b/w text illustrations by various artists. 192 pages.

Spine and corners bumped and worn. Spine browned. Covers grubby and marked with some foxing. Name and date in ink to front endpaper. Foxing, mainly to text block and prelims. Endpapers browned. Marks to pages 110-114 otherwise contents generally clean.
