Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. Grey/green cloth with gilt titles and vignette to front cover. 12 pastoral colour plates capture the spirit of this well-loved book. B/w text illustrations. Grey/green pictorial endpapers. 224 pages.
Spine and corners bumped. Covers are sunned, light scratch mark to rear cover. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Endpapers browned, light foxing to textblock and heavier foxspots to prelims. Dustwrapper is edge worn and torn with damp stains to sides of spine, 2" loss to top of spine and a small patch of loss to centre of rear panel.
