SIGNED by the author to title-page (by means of inscription dedicated to Heather). Large but neat inscription in ink to verso of front free-endpaper. Spine bumped. Light foxing to text block.Dustwrapper is foxed and slightly worn at spine and corners.
Pale yellow boards with black title to spine. B/w illustrations. Bumping along cover edges. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is faded to spine with some scuffing; a few edge-tears and chips; some repaired to verso; a few small nicks/chips of loss.

Wrapper, price-cut by publisher, has light brown stain at front corners, a closed tear repaired on verso and is rubbed at edges.

The story of how the children's holiday nearly ended in disaster - all Marjorie's fault of course! New Edition. Orange cloth, colour frontis, b/w illustrations. Spine a little bumped with a small dark mark at bottom. Name and date to front endpaper. Last couple of pages browned. Top corners of pages 55 - 62 are creased. Foxing to page edges. Dustwrapper is edge worn with tears to either side of spine. Spine and rear panel are grubby. Spine faded.

Small tears to top and bottom of spine are repaired with clear tape on veros. Spine is browned. Light foxing to panels.

Light foxing to endpapers and page edges otherwise contents are clean. Dustwrapper is edgeworn and a little torn. Spine is browned and a little grubby. Rear panel is grubby.
