Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
An Icelandic saga. Blue boards, gilt title to spine. 192 pages. B/w text illustrations. Spine bumped. Foxing to textblock and endpapers. Dustwrapper is edge worn and torn with some slight loss, rear panel is a little grubby.

Good condition in a good dustwrapper.
Italy 1944, three children work together to help the partisans, receiving and passing on messages. Black spine with silver title, green boards with silver vignette to front cover. B/w illustrations. 160 pages. Spine bumped. Large crease across front cover (cracking to pastedown because of this crease). Endpapers partly browned. Marks and remains of labels to endpapers. Very grubby fingermarks to some pages. Price-cut wrapper is edge worn with small tear and minimal loss to top of spine, old tape repairs on verso.

Naomi Mary Margaret Mitchison, Baroness Mitchison, CBE (née Haldane; 1 November 1897 – 11 January 1999) was a Scottish novelist and poet.
