A comprehensive account of Viking history and civilization. Translated and edited by Catherine Hutter. Blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos & illustrations. Endpapers and text block browned, foxing to top edge of text block. Surface paper damage and slight loss to rear endpaper (insect damage?). Contents otherwise clean. Dustwrapper is a little crinkled and lightly marked.

All plates present.
