A Viking Saga. Brown pictorial cloth, black titles. 4 colour plates. 368 pages. All plates present. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. A few small marks to rear cover. Possibly half-title missing. Frontis piece re-inserted.Pages lightly browned.
Green decorated cloth with gilt title to spine. 4 colour plates. 224 pages. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Foxing to prelims. Prize plate to front pastedown. Ink name stamp used multiple times to front endpapers and a sticker has been removed from free-endpaper.
Red cloth, gilt titles and decorations. 6 colour plates. A story of old Hereford and how the first Danes came to England. Spine is very browned. Split to top of spine; a couple of small fray holes to cloth on spine. Corners are bumped, with fading. Marks to covers. Bookplate to front pastedown. Some damp marks to page edges. All plates present.
Perhaps a short spell at school would teach the Viking some 20th century manners... Glazed pictorial boards. B/w text illustrations. The Crackers Series. ISBN: 0713644354. SIGNED by the author on title-page "Best wishes, Jeremy Strong" with small caption written by the illustration "Save me David!". Spine very slightly bumped and faded.
