A moving and brilliantly entertaining story of family life. Yellow boards, black title to spine. B/w illustrations. 345 pages plus publisher adverts. Pink endpapers. ISBN: 0385608373. Boards nice and clean. Light fingermarks to half-title page and minor foxing to edge of text block. Contents fine. Pink pictorial wrapper is lightly creased at edges and has remains of a small store label to front.

Almost very good condition.
Green pictorial paper boards showing two tabby cats and a dog to front, red title to front, black title to spine. B/w animal illustrations throughout, many of cats and dogs. Not paginated. Edges rubbed, corners worn. Much of back strip missing but title can be made out. Boards have a nice, clean appearance. One or two minor margin marks and tiny tears else contents nice. A nice copy of a scarce Wain title.
