Hopalong Cassidy and the Mesquite Gang. Oblong format. Glazed pictorial boards. 5 pop-up pictures. Colour illustrations. One slight mis-fold and pop-up. Bumping to spine; a little chipping. A few marks.
Book opens up to 360 degrees to become a toy theatre with '6 magnificent scenes' in 3D and full-colour, each with a black 'theatre curtain' surround. Instructions on use inside front cover. Pictorial boards, cloth spine. 9 x 6.5". 5 pages of text. Spine and corners bumped, slight wear to cover edges. Rear cover edges are lightly browned. Small repaired tear to lowr margin of first pop-up. Slight wear to lower corner of first stiff card page.
Large format. Stiff card wraps. 8 text pages. One large double pop-up spread to rear. New staples to spine, which appear to have been done the wrong way round - so the joins stick out in 3 places on spine, where ends overlap (sharp). Tape marks to page edges next to binding where old staples were. Name in ink to bottom margin of last page. Pop-up to rear appears to be in excellent condition!
Large format. Cloth spine. 8 text pages, with large double-page pop-up to rear of book. Fading and staining to spine with wear (rusting). Some margin marks. Pop-up to rear appears very good - just a little creasing in couple of places, including horse heads.
Front cover shows Father Christmas, with a pull-tab that moves his eyes and lips etc. 8 text pages. Last two pages are a large pop-up Christmas scene. Moveable pull tab to front is damaged, with some repair. Couple of tears to 'beard' and creasing, Pull tab still works, but is fragile. Inscription in ink to top of first page, with grubby marks to some margins. Gift page has child's writing on it. Large pop-up to rear is generally very good - split to paper where pop-up opens - some creases.

Creasing to cover corners. Staining to bottom of pages 3 - 8. Pop-up is in very good working order; a few creases; only 2 (of 5) free standing characters are present and loosely inserted.

Title to title page is 'Easter' - but this IS text of 'Ricky the Rabbit' when compared to other copies. Creasing and tape repairs to cover corners. Paper tape repairs to strengthen joints. Creasing to page corners; browning. Pop-up has been repaired - but now broken - figures to front of pop up do not 'pop' and have come unstuck (torn). Inscription in ink to belongs to/dedication/gift page.
