A portrait of a meaningful and most interesting past. Blue boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos. ISBN: 1874538972. Spine slightly cocked. Boards clean and bright as are the contents. An interesting account of Chepstow with 9 black and white illustrations and pictorial map. Preface by Jolliffe. Green cloth, gilt title to spine. A lovely copy in price-cut pictorial dustwrapper which is slightly grubby and has a few small foxspots, alsoo repaired to base of spine on verso with now yellowed tape.

Text block browned. Scattered foxing throughout. Joints pulled but binding is generally tight.
