Blue cloth, black titles in border to spine. 9 b/w illustrations plus portrait of the author. 319pp. 7 x 4.25". Spine bumped, worn and faded. Corners bumped. Slight damage to top edge of rear cover next to spine. Front endpaper is MISSING. Some light foxing and browning, mainly to endpapers and text block. Top edge of text block grubby. Dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and chipped, spine browned, panels slightly grubby.

Some foxing to outer page edges. Wrapper is edge=creased and browned, with a few tiny nicks to corners.
