Volumes One & Two only of a 6 volume set. Volume One: 1897-1928; Volume Two 1929-1930. Large format. Blue cloth boards with gilt titles. Colour frontis and b/w photos. Boards covered in protective laminate which has been taped tightly to pastedowns leaving tape marks and a little stickiness to endpapers. Previous bookseller's address label to lower corner of front pastedowns. Text blocks a little grubby. Contents are clean.

Covers are very heavily worn, with much loss of cover/top surface of leather spine. Chipping along edges of covers and scuffing/grubby marks. Foxing to outer page edges. Contents are still very good - a few pale margin marks. Joints are a bit cracked.
