The twins school burnt down half-way through term and so they found themselves with weeks and weeks in the New Forest with nothing to do but ride and care for their aunt's ponies. Second Impression. Red cloth boards, black title to spine. B/w illustrations. Foxing to endpapers and half-title page. Joints lightly pulled. Contents otherwise clean. Pictorial dustwrapper has a small chip to lower edge of front panel, is lightly edge-worn with a few closed tears (no loss) and is grubby to rear panel.

Blue cloth boards, dark blue title to spine. B/w chapter headers. Third impression (undated). Boards a little mottled and marked. Spine is a little cocked. Name in pencil to top edge of front endpaper (erasure has been attempted unsuccessfully). Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn and torn with a little loss, repaired to verso with clear tape, rear panel is a little grubby.

These are her memoirs edited and arranged by Jennifer Ellis, telling the story of a long and colourful life spanning the epoch between the horse-drawn carriage and the jet airliner, the cavalry charge and the H Bomb. Maroon cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos. Text block lightly browned. Red to top edge of text block very faded. Light browning to endpapers. Contents clean. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn, chipped at corners with some slight loss, 1.5" closed tear to top rear corner, lightly browned.

The idea of selling Chimpy to a zoo was altogether too much to bear... so Trudy and Dennis look to team up with the circus. Blue boards, black titles and vignettes. 135 numbered pages. Spine very slightly bumped and browned. Endpapers partly browned and foxed. Top edge of textblock is foxed. Dustwrapper is slightly edge chipped with minimal loss, a little grubby to rear panel and browned to spine. Verso of wrapper is heavily browned/foxed.
