Lord Huntly has had a most varied circle of friends - political, literary, and sporting - and he tells interesting and amusing things about all of them... Blue cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w plates. No date but second impression. Cloth to front board creased, spine & rear board mottled. Base of spine fraying. Text block browned. Some foxing mainly to margins and text block. White dustwrapper is grubby, edge-worn with small chips, browned to spine.

These are her memoirs edited and arranged by Jennifer Ellis, telling the story of a long and colourful life spanning the epoch between the horse-drawn carriage and the jet airliner, the cavalry charge and the H Bomb. Maroon cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos. Text block lightly browned. Red to top edge of text block very faded. Light browning to endpapers. Contents clean. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn, chipped at corners with some slight loss, 1.5" closed tear to top rear corner, lightly browned.
