This history of the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers covers the period between the wars, in outline, when for most of the time it was a normal infantry regiment, and in greater detail the war years from 1939 to 1945, when it was a machine-gun regiment. Red cloth with gilt title to spine and vignette to front cover. B/w photos. Many fold-out b/w maps. xxii and 241 pages including index. Light rubbing to base of spine and lower corners. Else boards clean and bright. Text block browned. Pink scuff marks to front endpaper. Contents generally clean, perhaps one or two minor marks. Price-cut dustwrapper is grubby and worn at corners with some slight loss.
