A desperate drama taking place in the steaming, tortuous jungle of Central Africa. Orange boards, blue title to spine and vignette to front cover. 155 pages. B/w illustrations. Contains a SIGNED letter from the author (to the binder?). Spine bumped. Slight mark to top corner of front cover. Some light foxing and page browning else contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with small tears at corners and slightly grubby to rear panel. "Collins Young Elizabethan Book of the Month" wrapround label to wrapper (loose).

Barney was the Farmer's donkey and when there was trouble he was usually at the bottom of it! Yellow cloth, blue title to spine. B/w text illustrations. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Small, faint mark to front cover. Endpapers partly browned, slight foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is edge worn, grubby and browned to rear panel and spine
