SIGNED & dated by the author (with best wishes) to front endpaper. Boards clean and bright. Foxing to text block and page edges. Front endpaper lightly creased. Contents otherwise clean. Plain light grey dustwrapper is slightly grubby, lightly creased across top edge, and browned to spine.

Front hinge is pulled wide but binding is tight (most likely a binding error). Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is slightly grubby, a few small marks to rear panel.

Small format. Brown chequerboard design with colour onlay to front. 24 colour plates. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Slight foxing to lower cover edges. Very neat inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Some foxspots to textblock. Price-cut wrapper is slightly worn at spine and corners with minimal loss, small closed tear to top corner of front panel.

White spine with title block. Blue/grey paper boards. Top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed and uncut. xiii and 111 pages. SIGNED by the author with a gift inscription to her husband on the free front endpaper. Spine browned, title label peeling just a little. Boards browned and mark to rear board. Corners a little worn. Some foxing present throughout. Some pages unopened. Overall a decent working copy.

Front joint has been amateurishly repaired with glue. Contemporary inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Joints pulled. Foxing and age related marks throughout. Binding is holding but feels fragile to touch.
