Miss Emma was a maiden lady cat who had made a delightful home for herself in a dustbin. Pale blue boards, red titles. Colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 80 pages. Presentation plate, inscription in ink, tape marks and tear to front endpaper. Surface paper lifting to front pastedown, where it appears something has been removed. Tape and other marks to rear endpaper/pastedown. Some foxing. Wrapper is price-cut with tears and chips; some loss; foxed with grubby marks.
Written & illustrated by 12-year-old Nina Carroll. 6 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. Blue cloth boards with blue title to front. Cup ring stain to front cover. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and a few page margins. Wrapper is edge-torn and chipped, with a few bits of loss; creased and grubby.
Red cloth. Oblong format. Beautiful colour plates plus b/w drawings. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Some foxing. Wrapper torn with loss and price-cut.

Inscription in ink to inside of front cover. 3.5cm tear to lower spine of covers and page margins. Centre pages detached but still present, pages beneath have 10cm tear to spine. Pages are a bit grubby but pictures still nice and bright. A very scare Hilda Boswell item.
Adapted by Zimet this is the story of a family of foxes. Superb full-page colour illustrations, some with opening doors, cupboards and windows. Large format. Top and tail of spine bumped and slightly worn. A few faint marks to covers. Pages edge-browned else contents fine with all openings working and no damage. Unusually good condition for this fragile book.
