Pleasure Books. Small, thin format (15x12cm). B/w illustrations. Yellow paperwraps. Covers edge rubbed with a couple of small tears to front edges. Inscription in ink to title-page. Contents have been professionally glued into covers. 1 small tear to edge title-page. Some light foxing and fingering but generally contents clean.
Cloth spine. Shaped book. Colour illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine and corners; wear to cover edges. A few marks to covers. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. A few marks to contents.
Paper covered linen wraps and pages. Colour and b/w illustrations. A clean bright copy with remains of inscription to outside of rear cover.
Young Folks Series. Large format. Pictorial cardwraps. 6 full page chromolithographs. 14 pages. Book has been affected by damp so that the covers and pages are lightly crinkled. Spine is rubbed and worn. Vertical edges of cover has slight surface paper loss. Heavy foxing to text. Chromoliths are beautifully clean and sharp. A lovely copy of a scarce title. Mother's Series. Small format (6 x 5 inch) pictorial paperwraps. 8 pages with 7 colour half-page illustrations. A verse to "My Mother" with "The Mother's Reply". Light rubbing to spine. A couple of tiny holes penetrate the whole book (so small that they do not detract from the overall condition of the book).
