Written by John Organ; Vic Mitchell.
Stock no. 2121362
Published by Middleton Press. 1st 2015. Nearly fine condition.
Glazed pictorial boards. Colour photos. Prior to the re-unification of Germany, a vast number of narrow gauge railway systems existed in the former East Germany. Surprisingly a large number of lines in Saxony have survived, along with two in the Baltic Coast region. This album portrays these surviving railways, which are now more attuned to the tourist market rather than their previous roles in providing transport and freight operations for the local populace. ISBN: 9781908174710. Bump to top of spine, else fine.
Glazed pictorial boards. B/w photos. The stations and traffic patterns at Harwich have been subject of constant change and thus the sequence of fascinating photographs have immense variety. The Hadleigh Branch conversely was a tranquil and rural byway of unchanging charm. ISBN: 9781908174024.
