The author recalls her cats with affection, humour - and forgiveness. Blue boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. ISBN: 023630934X. Foxing to endpapers and textblock. Dustwrapper is just a little edge worn.

Very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
Camden Classics series with introduction by Walter Allen. Grey cloth, gilt title to spine. 307 pages. B/w illustrations. Spine bumped, slightly rubbed and a little faded with fading at cover edges as well. Light page browning and some light foxing to textblock. Initial M written in ink to front free-endpaper. Dustwrapper is edge chipped and torn with some loss (small tape repairs on verso), a couple of small ink marks to front panel.

Fabre loved insects with a passion and affection which few other naturalists have rivalled. This book contains extracts from Fabre's Souvenirs Entomologiques. Edited by David Black. Brown cloth boards, gilt title to spine. Colour and brown & white illustrations. ISBN: 0236401769. Top edge of text block foxed. Contents clean. Pictorial dustwrapper is a little grubby and has a tiny piece of surface paper lifting to lower front edge.
