A Father Tuck "Come To Life" Little Book. Small format. Red spine, pictorial boards. Colour text illustrations and two lovely pop-up scenes. Board edges rubbed. A little damage and surface loss to red spine. Inscription to inside front board and title page.
Large shaped book with pictorial cardwraps (shaped as a dolly). Bright colour and b/w illustrations throughout. Light creases to top of covers and pages (dolls head). Small piece missing from lower front corner. Crack to spine at lower 2".

Blue cloth with gilt titles to spine and gilt vignette and titles to spine. Patterned endpapers. Colour, sepia and b/w illustrations. 11.5" x 8.5" Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers marked including some white marks to rear board. One hinge broken showing stitching beneath and another badly cracked. Small patch of surface paper damage to title page and page opposite. Endpapers and some pages internally lightly browned. Small bookseller's label to front pastedown and initials in ink to rear pastedown. Some foxing and grubby marks. A few small tears to inner margins.

Pretty pictorial front cover shows two girls by clock, brown cloth spine. 12 bBeautiful chromolithos of girls from different lands by Brundage plus other b/w illustrations. 10 x 7.5". 97 pages. Edited by Vredenburg. No. 1113. Spine bumped, stain near centre. Wear to corners and cover edges. Rear cover is slightly scuffed and has some rippling, some small scratches and marks to covers. Front joint starting to crack from bottom, a couple of hinges cracked. Large prize plate to front endpaper awarded for prize in Raphael Tuck and Sons Amateurs Literary and Painting Competition. Some browning to endpapers. Dark brown stain approx. 1.5 x 1" affects 6 pages at end of book, including one illustration. A few other marks to contents but generally they are clean. All plates present.
Untearable Linen Series. Large oblong format, 9.5 x 13". Pictorial stiff card covers, front shows children carrying smaller child in basket. Pastedown illustrations are two-tone, all other illustrations are colour. No. 1525. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Large crease to top corner of front cover. Covers grubby with 6" white line to rear cover. Contents detached, staples rusty. Centre page has 5 x 0.5" piece missing from top edge. Small bookseller's label to rear pastedown. Contents are a little grubby with some browning and foxing.

Father Tuck's Golden Gift series. Cloth spine, pictorial front cover shows 3 girls in fancy dress and Puss in Boots. A mix of stories and rhymes. Colour frontis plus two-tone and b/w illustrations. 71 pages. Spine and corners bumped with some wear. Covers slightly grubby. Endpapers browned. School stamp and ink name to front endpaper. Erased pencil writing to both endpapers. A couple of hinges starting to crack. A few marks to contents but most pages are clean.

Includes three shakespeare stories: "Cymbeline", "All's Well That Ends Well" and "Much Ado About Nothing". 64 pages. 6.5 x 4.5". Spine and corners bumped and worn. Spine browned. Couple of small pencil marks to rear cover. Covers a little grubby. Couple of hinges a little cracked. Foxing to endpapers otherwise contents generally clean.

Front board edge a little rubbed. Browning to endpapers and prelims. Name and date to flyleaf. Browning and some foxing to some pages else contents are generally clean.

Front joint is broken with stitching still holding but contents obviously a bit loose. Plates detached.
