Limited to 1245 copies. Red cloth, gilt title to spine. 7 b/w illustrations. SIGNED by C. Gordon Jolliffee (writer of foreword) by means of a lengthy inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Spine slightly bumped and rubbed.Some light brown marks to gutter of front endpaper. Textblock is slightly foxed. Dustwrapper is edge chipped with slight loss to top of spine and is faded to spine.

The list of Chepstow Inns and their Landlords has some marked with a biro 'x' next to the name. Orange pictorial dustwrapper is unevenly faded and edge-worn.

Wrapper is edge-creased with a few small tears and chips; minimal loss.
