Told to the Children Series. Small format. Green cloth with pictorial onlay to front and title and decorations in gilt. 8 delightful colour plates. 117 pages. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaer (dated 1905). Foxing to endpapers and text block. Last page has been trimmed incorrectly but no text affected.
Cream cloth, brown titles and decoration. 8 colour tipped-in plates mounted on brown paper, captioned tissue-guards. 184 pages, edges untrimmed. Spine and corners bumped. Foxing to endpapers and text block. Dustwrapper is edge worn with slight loss at spine and corners and tape repairs on verso. Foxing to wrapper. Printed price on front panel of wrapper has been crossed out with ink.

Foxing to prelims, outer page edges and some pages throughout book. Wrapper is price-cut with tears and ships; couple of tape repairs to verso. Some loss to wrapper at corners.
