Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Name and address in purple pencil to front free-endpaper. Endpapers lightly browned. Page 17/8 has been roughly opened causing margin loss and large tears. Dustwrapper is worn and chipped at edges.

What looks like small bookworm holes to edges of spine. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Foxing throughout. All plates present.

Dated inscription in ink to front pastedown. Endpapers a little browned. Some finger marks to page edges. First few pages have small closed tear to top edge. Dustwrapper is edge worn with tears. Slight loss to rear panel which also has 4 small holes. Spine is browned. Rear flap is creased. Front panel is a little grubby.
