Green cloth with white titles and borders. Cheap edition. B/w illustrations to song headings. Music by Horace Mansion. Songs in French. Spine and corners bumped. Covers slightly faded at edges. Large but faint child's name to front cover. Front free-endpaper removed and missing (possibly rear free-endpaper too). Hinges pulled and cracked. Some pencil scribbles to pages and other marks to margins. A working copy.

Corners bumped and slightly worn. Name plate to front free-endpaper. Name in green crayon to front pastedown. Foxing to textblock, endpapers and some page margins. Dustwrapper is edge worn with loss, rear panel is grubby with tears.

Name and date in ink to front free-endpaper. One of the plates is loose with ragged edges. Grubby fingermarks to page margins and some foxing to contents.
