Being a Story of Wat Tyler's Insurrection. Blue pictorial cloth. 8 b/w plates. 352 pages + 32 page booklist. All edges green. First edition produced in 1897 but dated 1898. 2nd state of 1st edition (has plain endpapers). Spine and corners are bumped. Small split to base of spine. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Light foxing to prelims. Frontis has silvery sheen, giving an overall browned effect.
