Slightly better than very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
A country school, entirely of seniors, is suddenly invaded by five juniors, of 12 years old or less, accepted by the headmistress for various reasons. Green boards with red titles to spine. 240 pages. Spine a little bumped. Slight bump to top corner of first thirty pages. Contents very good. Dustwrapper is edge worn and a little chipped. Rear panel is browned. Wrapper is generally grubby.

A Tale of the Rise of the Dutch Republic. Brown cloth with gilt title area and decorations. 10 b/w plates + 4 plans. 384 pages + 32 page booklist. Spine bumped and worn with small splits to top and bottom. Small split to cloth between top of spine and rear board. Board edges are rubbed. Couple of white marks to front cover. Gilt and colour in vignettee are a little faded. Rear cover is marked and has a few scratches. Several hinges are cracked leaving the binding a little loose. Foxing and some fingering to contents. Plates are all clean.
