Spine is browned, with scuffing to title. Some scuffing also to title on front cover. Grubby marks to covers. Foxing/browning to endpapers and outer page edges. All plates present.

B/w text illustrations by Rhys. 238 pages, top edge green. Spine and corners bumped and worn, covers are a bit grubby and gilt to spine has faded. Front free-endpaper removed. Front and rear joints cracked causing contents to be a bit loose. Some grubby fingermarks to contents. Hinges pulled/cracked. Pages 58 and 59 lightly scribbled on with blue crayon. A decent copy of a very scarce Tarrant item.
