A Lone Pine Adventure. Blue boards, gilt titles and lone pine vignette. Endpapers are maps. Spine and corners bumped. Small pink mark to top of spine and small white mark to centre of front cover. Slight foxing to textblock. Price-cut wrapper is edge rubbed with small tape repairs on verso, name in blue biro to front flap of wrapper.

A gripping and fast-moving adventure story about the Lone Pine Club set on Dartmoor. Cream boards, red titles. Endpapers show sketch of the Moor. B/w illustrations. 244 pages. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Neat colouring to the map on the front endpapers. Light foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn and chipped with very slight loss. Blurb to front flap has I assume a correction pasted to the middle of the blurb (see photo).

The fifth book in the Lone Pine series. This is Jenny's Harman's story. Her desire to possess an old spoon which she found on a junk-tray in Bishop Castle's market laid the foundation of another great adventure for the Lone Piners. Beige cloth, red titles and pine tree vignette. Endpaper maps. B/w illustrations. 256 pages. Bumping and mark to base of spine. A few marks to covers. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and some page margins. Name in ink to verso of front endpaper with some transfer across to half-title page. Wrapper is price-cut with edge-tears and some chips; a little loss; tape repair to base of spine; some marks.

A vivid, fast-moving story of an unusual adventure on the Grand Union Canal. Orange cloth. B/w illustrations. 164 pages. Staining to boards. Spine slightly cocked. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Some colouring to b/w frontis. Pictorial dustwrapper is heavily repaired with tape to verso which has aged and is now showing through to the front. Some surface paper loss to rear panel of dustwrapper and some loss to spine.

Almost very good condition in a fair dustwrapper.
The story of two city children sent to stay on a farm where they thought nothing ever happened. They soon changed their minds. The story was also filmed on Malcolm Saville's farm in Hertfordshire. Green cloth, yellow title to spine. B/w text illustrations. 128 pages. Damp mark to bottom of front cover, which goes through boards to some pages of book; wrinkling. Small name in ink to front endpaper. Wrapper is torn with damp marking; 2-3" piece of loss to bottom of front panel.
