Almost very good condition. The best popular fairy stories selected and rendered anew. Grey patterned cloth with black titles and coloured Red Riding Hood vignettes. 8.5 x 6". 35 stories. 16 colour plates. 416 pages.
Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Spine darkened. A couple of marks to covers including red mark below title on front cover. Front joint cracked. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Title page is badly creased alongside spine and ragged along top edge. Numerous tears to bottom margins of pages 57-60, tears and loss to some other margins. A few marks and some foxing to contents. All plates present.
