Good condition. Pictorial front board illustrated by M.D. Johnston, illustration shows three young children feeding the birds with a puppy at the feet of the children. Colour plates and illustrations, b/w text illustrations. First story is "The Orange Umbrella".

Covers are edge worn, spine has splits to front edge. Inscription in ink to belongs to box. Frontis is detached but still present. Foxing to textblock and to page margins, also some slight page browning.
