Green cloth spine with dark titles and vignette. Front cover shows three children in a canoe. First story Tom's Pigs by Marjorie Seymour. Illustrated endpapers by Anne Anderson. Colour plates, colour and b/w illustrations. 200 pages. Spine and corners worn. Small tear in cloth at base of spine. Edges of boards exposed on rear cover where pictorial onlay has worn away. Endpapers browned. Minor worm damage to top corner of frontis. Clear tape repair to gutter of pages 154 and 155 where pages have pulled from stitching. Binding sound. Occasional foxspots but contents generally clean.

Green cloth spine. Pictorial boards, front cover showing Bo-Peep and her sheep. B/w and two-colour illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Couple of corners have had tips coloured in the same colour as the original. A few scuffs and grubby marks to covers. Front joint is partially cracked. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing and margin marks. A few hinges are pulled. One page has neat blue colouring to pictures. Some page margin tears. Binding is starting to become a little weak.
Small oblong format. Colour illustrations. Some wear to cover edges; a bit of scuffing. Creasing to endpapers. Some margin marks.

A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Spine slightly darkened and gilt dulled. Covers slightly grubby with wear to onlay and title. Rear joint cracked. Tiny bookseller's sticker to front pastedown. Light browning to endpapers. Just an odd mark and fox spot to contents.

Spine bumped and frayed. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges worn. Front board is scratched and rear board grubby. Some hinges cracked. Inscription to front endpaper plus '1 Hedges' stamped in ink. A second inscription plus name and address in belongs to box. Foxing to endpapers and page edges. Neat colouring to some b/w illustrations.

Large heavy format. Blue boards with large pictorial onlays to front cover and spine (showing children with barrow of holly). Colour plates plus colour and b/w illustrations to text. First story is Micky O'Connell and the Man in the Moon by Harrison. Spine bumped with small splits to top if spine and larger splits to base of spine, onlay foxed. Wear to corners. A few marks to covers, edges of onlay on front are browned/foxed. Front joint is broken next to half-title page. First three gatherings pulled so feel loose but are still firmly attached. Many hinges cracked. Ink inscription, dated 1926, and name and address to front endpapers. Name and address in child's writing to verso of frontis. A few marks and fingermarks to contents. All colour pages present. Some foxing.
