Slightly better than good condition. Stories and poems about pets. Pictorial boards showing three children at a gate and a small black dog. Green cloth spine. Mounted colour frontis (chromolithograph) plus b/w illustrations. 3 page book list to rear.
Spine bumped and faded. Corners bumped and rubbed. Some marks to rear board. Front board a little grubby. Prize plate to front pastedown. Front joint and a couple of hinges cracked. Some pages a little detached at bottom but binding generally tight. Tears to a couple of pages. Page edge browning. Some fingering and a few marks to contents.
