Cloth spine, pictorial front cover shows fox sat beside pen of geese. 11.25 x 9.25". 8 chromolithographs plus b/w illustrations to text. Short stories and rhymes. Spine and corners bumped and worn. A few marks and light scratches to covers. Name and date in ink to front endpaper. A couple of hinges cracked but binding is firm. A couple of staples starting to rust. Contents clean but browned. All plates present.

Browning, some foxing and an odd mark to contents but no writing.

Creases to the bases of the pop-up scenes but otherwise the pop-ups are complete, bright and working. Contents are been reinforce with tape at inner margins. Page corner tips lightly creased and some finger and other marks to contents.
