Almost very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
Searching for the lost plate of a ruined Norfolk monastery is the main theme of this story. Peach boards with black title to spine and small avocet vignette to front cover. 221 pages. B/w illustrations. Endpapers are maps of Crome's Broad. Some slightly bumped. Some very slightly browning to lower cover edges. Small patch of white paper transfer to base of spine (from dustwrapper). Contents are foxed and browned. Dustwrapper is edge worn, foxed on verso with damp stains to edges and tape repairs on verso.
