The part 8 Corps played in the invasion of Normandy. Light blue/grey cloth boards, red titles. 3 colour survey maps in pocket at rear of book. Cloth boards browned at edges and spine, base of spine worn. Small knock to vertical edge of boards. Name in ink to front pastedown. What looks like a browned damps stain running vertically at edges (margins) of prelims. A few margin marks to contents but generally clean. All colour maps present and in good condition.

Leather spine rubbed and scuffed, boards scuffed and worn at lower edges. New endpapers. Some pages not bound in (but present). Some title pages have loss/tape marks. Tape repair to width of page 139 now yellowed with age. A few margin marks and tears.
