Pictorial boards and spine. Front cover shows Mickey and Minnie surfing on a plank of wood with caption "Still on Top!". Colour frontis, b/w illustrations throughout. Corners and edges are worn. Spine intact, but a little creased. Some foxing throughout. Tiny patch of colouring to title page. First 4 pages have been numbered in crayon to top of page.

First of the three Chudleigh Hold books by the author of the Chalet School series. Blue boards. B/w frontis illustration. 204 pages. 7.5 x 5". Spine and corners bumped. Foxing to covers and spine very slightly faded. Front free-endpaper missing (including frontis illustration). Small brown mark to top margin of title-page. Page browning throughout. Dustwrapper is edge chipped with slight loss, small mark to centre of front panel, price-cut with new price above in ink (3/6).

Small closed tear to title page. A few grubby marks to contents. Repaired tear to page 21 with yellow tape mark. Some edge-loss to rear pastedown. Still a nice book.
