Volumes One & Two only of a 6 volume set. Volume One: 1897-1928; Volume Two 1929-1930. Large format. Blue cloth boards with gilt titles. Colour frontis and b/w photos. Boards covered in protective laminate which has been taped tightly to pastedowns leaving tape marks and a little stickiness to endpapers. Previous bookseller's address label to lower corner of front pastedowns. Text blocks a little grubby. Contents are clean.

Front endpaper has a couple of closed tears. Small Victorian photos stuck to blank pages of prelims and rear endpapers, 5 in total. Front endpaper reinserted. Rear endpaper partially detached. Pencil annotations to rear endpaper. Foxing to first and last pages and a few foxspots to contents, otherwise clean.
