Black cloth, gilt titles and vignette to front cover. Packed with colour and b/w illustrations. 552 pages includes index. Majority of pages lightly browned else book would be fine. Wrapper is nicked at corners, rubbed at edges and creased on front flap.
Top edge red. Burgundy leather spine, with silver title. Grey and white decorated boards. B/w illustrations. Introduced and retold by Crossley-Holland. Covers are ever so slightly bowed. Slip case is very good.
Green cloth rear board and spine with gilt title. Front board has pictorial paper covering. Green endpapers are maps. Full page colour plates. Contained in a nearly fine slip-case.
2 Volumes. Brown cloth spine with gilt titles and border. Pictorial covers. Introduction by McLeish. Slip case is very good - a few marks and couple of knocks.

Contents clean. A few fox spots to top edge of text block. Dustwrapper is edge worn with creasing to base of slightly faded spine. Light scratches to rear panel.

Limited to 1,000 numbered copies, a facsimile of the definitive 1927 J M Dent edition. Bound in full Nigerian goatskin, gold blocked with the design of the 1927 edition. Printed on specially made paper with hand-made end papers and gilding on three edges. 624 pages, 11.75 inches x 9 inches. Includes a separate booklet with an essay by Professor Anthony S G Edwards. This is copy no. 784. Slipcase just has a few very faint, light marks, otherwise as new. Also includes the original Folio advertises pamphlet for the volume.
