Ammonites dominated the sea before and during the time of the dinosaurs. Some ammonites were large predators not unlike today's giant squid; others small and delicate. This is their story... and how they are becoming a bivrant part of 21st century lifestyles, art and design. Large oblong format. Matt black pictorial boards. Colour photos and illustrations. 224 pages. ISBN: 9780992974008. SIGNED by the author to half-title page. Black boards are a little scuffed. Contents are fine. A rare and unusual book!
