Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
A Guide to the Non-Marine Gastropoda of Great Britain and Ireland Pleistocene to Recent. Reprint of the 1926 first edition. Blue cloth, gilt title to spine. B/w plates. 298 pages including index plus plates to rear. Black ink marking and symbol to front pastedown and also front endpaper. Some light surface paper damage to front pastedown. Top edge of text block has minor foxing. Boards are clean as are contents. Green dustwwrapper is scuffed, faded to spine, surface paper loss to spine from removal of a label, top & bottom edge of wrapper has a margin of yellowed tape.

The area consists of the lower part of the Valley of the Wye, from Bigsweir Bridge southwards to the mouth of the river at Beachley. Green cloth boards, black title to spine. Folding b/w map of Chepstow area. vii and 140 pages. Boards are almost detached (just hanging on by a thread!). Corners of boards rubbed & worn. Annotation throughout. Map is present and clean, torn at a couple of folds (no loss).
